(a)similar in a pocket is an adaptation of the choreography (a)similar, created for the screen. While the original work explores the relationship between language and movement, the film extends this dialogue through cinematic techniques. Words shape not only the performers' actions but also the editing itself, appearing through layered images, repetitions, and visual overlaps. The camera brings the audience into a more intimate space, allowing gestures, sounds, and fragments of language to be experienced up close. Through the interplay of movement, text, and cinematic composition, (a)similar in a pocket creates a condensed world where language unfolds simultaneously through the body and the screen.
